You Mean The World To Me

Bright chevron prints make a wonderfully bold design feature at a wedding and today’s lovely shoot shows how to use snazzy chevron patterns to make a stylish statement.

The cheerful cherry and mint tones would work perfectly against the bright skies of a destination wedding or add lively splashes of colour to a UK day.

Lindsay Docherty Photography:

“Everyone looks forward to the cake at a wedding, especially the children. That’s why this darling ring bearer is hanging around! We styled this photo shoot with a luscious dessert table as the highlight. Using chevron, coral, and mint as our theme- we created a delicious dessert table, friendly welcome station, and sparkling beverage center, using gorgeous dahlias, roses, hypericum berries and celosia to create an abundance of blooms in coral tones that made the settings pop.”

“Each special area had real-fabric accents made with a cheery coral chevron, some of which we sewed in-house. From the pillow decorating the antique chair, to the dessert table runner, to the fabric-covered boxes down to the bowtie and ring pillow, the chevron shows off this theme as being modern and stylish.”

“A tiered wedding cake with a clever chevron accent and coral cupcakes matched the theme perfectly. Ciao Bella Cakes has an amazing ability to turn fondant and icing into art. Everything tasted as good as it looked. Our ring bearer sure found them irresistible!”

“The perfect chevron paper accents were provided by Paper-Rock-Scissors. They brought some fun to our wedding by adding signs in different languages ‘Yummy’ and ‘Delicioso’ etc. all sit atop a cupcake with and adorable coral chevron flag. Paper-Rock-Scissors also provided a welcome sign, a darling banner, favor boxes and labels for the beverage station.”

“This inspiration shoot took place at the fantastic Morris House Hotel in Philadelphia. This historic gem tucked right in the middle of the city within walking distance of many Philadelphia attractions. Their courtyard is a romantic and unique setting for any wedding, featuring a pergola, fountain, and charming ivy-decorated brick walls.”
