Wedding Theme Inspiration – Autumn Daze

29/06/2015 |

Destination Wedding Blog 03

There might be sunshiny skies here in the UK today but the blog is boasting all shades of autumn…

This real life bride and groom (Shannon and Al) were hoping to create a stylised ‘day after’ photo shoot and so together with a talented team of vendors they set about achieving this wonderfully bohemian woodland wedding inspiration.

The crisp days of early fall delivered an atmospheric light for this romantic rural shoot set within a family owned vineyard at Baiting Hollow, New York.

Lou & Rob   ♥   Victoria, Australia

Photographer:   Oli Sansom

Lovers of the great outdoors will no doubt be dreaming of tying the knot alfresco, breathing in pure fresh air and surrounded by nothing but nature and untouched beauty.

Lou and Rob said “I Do” out in the bushland of the picturesque Goulburn River region in the heart of Victoria, Australia. A truly open-air affair, they said their vows beneath the forest’s branches within this charming National Park.

Lou looked everything a woodland boho bride should be and more, whilst splashes of fiery red added flare to their rustic wedding party look.

Real Wedding – Retro Style At Boyd Baker House, Australia

30/03/2015 |

Sarah & Perry   ♥   Victoria, Australia

Photographer:   Oli Sansom

When photographer Oli Sansom sends through a wedding submission, you know it’s going to be a stylish one! His talents behind the lens were teamed with a private venue in Australia that was famously designed and built in the 1960s by Melbourne architect Robin Boyd.

Tucked away in the bushland of Victoria, the Boyd Baker House certainly delivered a cool and quirky retro setting and Sarah and Perry lovingly emphasized the scene with just the right hints of vintage styling and down-to-earth natural touches.

Discovering and sharing a unique location such as the iconic Boyd Baker House can be what destination days are all about. Deciding to do things a little differently and giving your guests a one of a kind experience, combined with a wedding celebration, is as exciting and rewarding for the bride and groom as it is for the wedding guests.

So sit back and enjoy taking a sneaky peek at this distinctive destination day, as it is truly exceptional!

Wedding Theme Inspiration – Woodland Boho Bride

08/07/2014 |

Getting Married Abroad Blog

If you go down to the woods today, you’re sure of a big surprise! Relaxed, bohemian themes are as popular as ever in the wedding world and one of my favourite angles of boho bride styling is a laid-back woodland wedding.

The earthy greens and stoney blues, the dusky pink and peach flowers, and the splashes of antique gold in today’s stunning styled shoot, all faultlessly compliment the natural forest surroundings. Fashioned and photographed by Cassandra Farley Photography and a talented team of vendors, this wedding theme inspiration encapsulates woodland boho bride designing.

Team a vintage-vibe gown with festival fashion-forward jewellery for a contemporary twist on boho-chic. And when it comes to treating your guests, an informal countryside ceremony wouldn’t be complete without a naked wedding cake – pared-down perfection!

Real Wedding Film – Rustic Woodland Wedding

17/02/2014 |

Jen & Luke   ♥   Missouri, USA
Videographer:   Something Blue Cinema

Jen and Luke chose the rustic elegance of the Big Cedar Lodge resort in Missouri to say their vows (which they wrote themselves, but for each other to read!).

In keeping with the log cabins and lodges set within the tranquil woodland at the remote resort, Jen and Luke’s big day was at one with nature with romantic rustic details including antlers, feathers, pinecones and wonderful wood features.

Since Luke is a bonafide Bull Rider, cowboy hats were part of the dress code but nothing could outshine Jen’s dazzling, encrusted bodice wedding gown.

This wedding oozes with personality, fun and then some! Enjoy.
