Italian weddings are the epitome of romance. With venues fit for a fairytale, saying ‘I Do’ in this down-right darling country is always a winner.

Today’s oh-so-sweet styled shoot from Fotografa Matrimonio, flawlessly captures the essence of the historic city of Milan. The pretty pink styling would be picture-perfect for a dreamy destination day anywhere across idyllic Italy. Floaty chiffon, delicate accessories and fresh fragrant blooms make for an angelic bride and a chic summer soiree.

Real Wedding – Picture Perfect Piacenza

You Mean The World To Me

Chiara & Ivan   ♥   Piacenza, Italy

You Mean The World To Me

Today’s real wedding took place in picturesque Piacenza, just 60 kilometres outside the metropolitan city of Milano, Italy. Chiara and Ivan said ‘I do’ in the most quaint and romantic little church we’ve seen, set within the Torreforenllo estate.

Their guests were treated to a typically Italian soiree. A long welcoming table – overlooking lush vineyards and the rolling hills and valleys beyond – took centre stage for the reception, until night fall when the wedding party kicked off their shoes and danced under the stars.

This chic countryside wedding oozes with personality and was the casual, intimate affair that Chiara and Ivan hoped for…and more.

Chiara says:

“Two years ago, during a wine tasting in the Piacenza hillside area, we visited a friend’s vineyard, Torrefornello, and we fell in love with the amazing landscape and the whole location. We wanted to share our wedding with our closest relatives and dearest friends. We very quickly reached 64 people, but this is still very few people for an Italian ceremony!”
