Ainar & Dodi   ♥   Tuscany, Italy

Photographer:   Neverending Magic

No wonder Tuscany is one of the most popular destination wedding locations in the world. Rich in down-to-earth Italian culture, this relaxed yet indulgent region of Italy offers every wedding style that a wanderlust couple could wish for.

From elegant castles to stunning churches, from exclusive villas to rustic farmhouses, Tuscany delivers Italian charm personified, all wrapped up in breath taking countryside and with a hearty side order of incredible food, vino and world-class hospitality for good measure. Sounds pretty good right?!

Ainar and Dodi having previously visited Tuscany together knew how delightful a destination it was. So when they started their search for neutral ground in which to tie the knot, the beauty and romanticism of this region was an obvious choice.

Historical Villa Barberino, in Meleto played host to their informal yet oh-so-elegant celebration. The couple said ‘I Do’ outside in the glorious sunlit grounds, surrounded by their loved ones before enjoying alfresco dining as the sun set.

The super-talented Tania of Neverending Magic was also on hand to capture the joyful ambience of the day on camera.

If you’re planning on getting married abroad, Italy certainly has everything you could hope for and more! Dreamy destination wedding venues, fabulous locally sourced food (and wine of course!), and more romance than even Romeo and Juliet would know what to do with.

With this in mind, today’s American and Italian duo decided on the rural Piemonte region in northwest Italy for their destination wedding.

A cheerful purple theme, an idyllic garden ceremony and plenty of personal touches made Julie and Deneb’s day intimate, welcoming and picture-perfect.

It almost seems like the Amalfi Coast in Italy was made for destination weddings; luxury cliff top hotels with awe-inspiring vistas exude a certain timeless elegance that simply cannot be beaten.

Today’s styled shoot took place at the famous Belmond Hotel Caruso, a former 11th century palace perched high above the picturesque Ravello coastline – destination wedding heaven. Captured beautifully by the gifted Gert Huygaerts Photography, this ethereal wedding theme inspiration is sublime…and no wonder, it was lovingly created by the oh-so-talented Joy Proctor Design.

The wildly romantic setting, the delicate duck egg blue and antique gold palette and the exquisite details throughout this shoot create a stylish backdrop to this elegant and timeless theme.

Real Wedding – It’s Impossible Not To Love Venice

Getting Married In Venice

Amy & Matt   ♥   Venice, Italy

Photographer:   AV-Photography

The floating city of Venice is undeniably one of the most beautiful and unique conurbations in the world. With its stunning combination of Gothic and Byzantine architecture, grand bridges and splendid squares, all impressively intertwined with the extraordinary gondola-filled canal network, this is one magical metropolis.

Considered by all as one of the most romantic cities on the planet, a destination wedding in Italy’s capital of romance will certainly be one that you and your guests will never forget!

Wanting to get married abroad, Amy and Matt, both from the UK, decided that the striking scenery of Venice was the locale for them and their destination wedding, and so they tied the knot in the beyond-beautiful St George’s Anglican Church before celebrating with their nearest and dearest and indulging on Italian delicacies and vino in the famous Locanda Cipriani (created by Giuseppe Cipriana, the world renowned founder of Harry’s Bar, Hotal Cipriani and Villa Cipriani).

Where else in the world can you exit your wedding by a sleek boat instead of a getaway car, before getting lost together in a marvellous maze of narrow streets, winding waterways and glorious gondolas? It’s impossible not to love Venice!

Kirsty & Fergus   ♥   Amalfi Coast, Italy

Photographer:   Oli Sansom

Not only is Fergus and Kirsty’s wedding utterly ‘words can hardly describe it’ beautiful but Kirsty perfectly sums up some of the reasons why a destination day can be the best way to tie the knot.

Halfway through planning a traditional big white wedding at home, their dreams of an intimate Italian getaway could no longer be ignored and so they bravely changed direction and jetted off to the picture-postcard town of Positano, etched into the awe-inspiring cliffs of the Amalfi Coast, for a relaxed, hassle free and downright darling day instead.

Walking hand in hand through the winding whitewashed cobbled streets with passing villagers cheering and taking photos, Kirsty and Fergus look on top of the world. They said their vows on a cliff top terrace, with sweeping views of the sparkling sea – seriously romantic!

Oh and I must mention Kirsty’s divine dress (that she wears so effortlessly, like she was born to wear it), which is so fitting for the style of their day, especially with its beautiful beaded belt shimmering in the sunlight – pure Positano perfection.
