A Goal Without A Plan Is Just A Wish

Back in October I was lucky enough to get to visit the chic and unique city that is Singapore for the second time. During a quiet day lazing by the pool at the apartments where I was staying, I began to consider my love for all things holiday…

From my wistful wonderings beside the pool that day, came an idea for using past travels to create refreshed positivity for the year ahead. Not being one to commit to New Year’s resolutions myself (who likes booze-free skinny girls anyway?!) January seemed like the ultimate time to share this simple idea.

So here today is the latest wellbeing method for the blog and if you missed the last feature, be sure to check it out too – 10 Things To Be Thankful For Everyday.

Anniversary Shoot – I Redo

Getting Married Abroad

Ralizabeth & Junior   ♥   New Jersey, USA

Photographer:   Denisse Benitez

One of the loveliest parts of writing a wedding blog is that you get to meet (albeit online!) so many charming couples and have the enjoyment of reading their unique tales. It’s even more special when you get to follow an entire journey from the couple’s engagement right through to after their wedding day.

I have had the great pleasure of seeing the story unfold for today’s cute couple, who started their relationship whilst living in two different countries which resulted in Junior moving to be with Ralizabeth and them tying the knot with a destination wedding in Puerto Rico – an amazing tale of modern day love across the miles!

If you missed their long distance love story engagement session be sure to read it first, followed by taking a peek at their intimate Puerto Rico castle wedding.

On their six-month anniversary Junior and Ralizabeth met up with Denisse Benitez Photography (who photographed their engagement session) for a unique ‘I Redo’ shoot that involved them wearing their wedding gear in a wonderful woodland setting back home.

There’s a growing trend for couples to have a photo session back home after their destination wedding, or for them to return to where they got married abroad on their anniversary to capture some more snaps of themselves in stunning surroundings. What a fantastic idea and a wonderful way to document the different stages of your new marriage? I especially love the name ‘I Redo’ – it’s perfectly fitting for today’s adorable anniversary shoot.
