It’s always a pleasure to share a traditional wedding from another country – it gives you a gorgeous glimpse of the style and atmosphere of a local wedding from another culture.

Today’s typically Italian ceremony took place within a beautiful Catholic Church in Rome, the happy couple surrounded by their family and friends.

So when in Rome, wed like the Italians with a simple yet oh-so-elegant soiree, just as Italian born Emanuela and Adam did….

Real Wedding – Vintage Meets Industrial Chic In New York City

Heather & Brian   ♥   New York City, USA

Photographer:   Zorz Studios

Being a city girl at heart, there’s nothing I love more than a metropolis marriage and New York City has to be a firm favorite when it comes to urban locales. The skyscraper views, the chic city venues…if a concrete jungle wedding is what your destination dreams are made of, then The Big Apple will not disappoint!

Heather and Brian tied the knot in NYC with a vintage-inspired wedding day that was cool and then some. They fell helplessly in love with The Green Building and built their theme around its beautifully sleek industrial interior and vintage vibe – it even has a speakeasy room at the back, decked out in décor that would be fitting to the prohibition days.

Previously a brass foundry, The Green Building boasts original brick walls and exposed beam ceilings, opulently finished with gold chandeliers and twinkling fairy lights to create a warm and intimate setting.

Ailin & J   ♥   New York City, USA

Photographer:   Artvesta Studio

What a whirlwind adventure this cute couple had! Ailin and J are from Beijing in China and they decided on an Empire State of Mind elopement to NYC.

After seeing a photo by Tatiana Valerie of Artvesta Studio in an issue of the British Harper’s Bazaar magazine and being so inspired by the image of Olga Kvitko’s classical silk organza and French lace gown, they contacted Tatiana and asked her if she could not only photograph their elopement to New York City but also asked for her help to plan the details too.

Calling on friends and connections within the industry, Tatiana managed to come up trumps and 48hours later Ailin and J arrived in The Big Apple and had their City Hall wedding.   The newly weds were then taken on a tourist tour around the city that never sleeps, visiting the Top of the Rock with views of The Empire State Building, then off to the world famous Flatiron Building and of course they ended their fun-filled day with the bright lights of Times Square as the backdrop.
