Engagement Shoot – San Diego Chance Of Fate Fairytale
Natasha & Steve ♥ San Diego, USA
Photographer: Justice Phototography
Today’s long distance love story is an incredible ‘chance of fate’ fairytale! Having met at University in Ohio whilst Natasha enjoyed a semester there from her own UK Uni, this cute couple were initially just friends and after that one term they didn’t see each other again for years.
A chance meeting brought them together after 13 years apart and as soon as they met up again there was no doubt in their minds that they were meant to be together. By this time in their lives they were living on other sides of the globe from each other but undeterred they kept their love alive over the long distance that stood between them.
Steve proposed and of course Natatsha said “Yes!” and so they enjoyed a whirlwind wedding along with this engagement shoot session by the beach in sunny San Diego – one of their favourite places in the world – before starting a new life together in the US.
Real Wedding – From Chicago City to Sunny Sonoma
Molly & Patrick ♥ Sonoma, USA
Photographer: onelove photography
Just like many couples before them Molly and Patrick chose to have a destination wedding so that they could enjoy guaranteed sunshine on their big day and celebrate their special occasion outdoors.
So they said farewell to their beloved Chicago city and its more temperamental temperatures and jetted off with their nearest and dearest to tie the knot al fresco at the rustic Beltane Ranch in Sonoma, just an hour outside of San Fran.
The pretty peach theme and perfectly fitting vintage touches purely accentuated the lovingly restored ranch house backdrop and breathtaking vineyard surroundings. Thankfully the oh-so-talented onelove photography team were also on hand to beautifully capture all of this wonderful wedding pretty!
Engagement Shoot – San Diego Style
Heidi & Rick ♥ San Diego, USA
Photographer: Raw Fusion Studio
When it comes to engagement shoots the ones that I love to share are those that are literally bursting with a couple’s personality or that make a wonderful worldwide location the heart of the engagement shoot story. Hopefully these two key elements present you with an abundance of wanderlust ideas as inspiration for your own shoot before your upcoming destination wedding.
Today’s trendy love shoot ticks both the personality and the lovely locale box and displays some serious San Diego style.
Lovers of all-things vintage, Heidi and Rick headed to Sante Fe train station with the super-talented Raw Fusion Studio team. This Spanish Colonial Revival station provided a picturesque backdrop to the antique twist of their theme.
Next stop was Silo in Makers Quarter, a dynamic and original urban space in the East Village. A hub for vibrant creativity, this colourful corner of the metropolis brought Heidi and Rick’s character to life.
Real Wedding – Rustic DIY California Ceremony
Erica & Nathan ♥ California, USA
Photographer: Atelier Pictures
There’s something so enchanting about California weddings. Maybe it’s the ethereal light as the glorious sun sets, or possibly it’s the magical outdoor venue locales, or it could be the relaxed yet refined Cali-style hospitality; whatever it is that makes wedding’s in The Golden State so charming, Erica and Nathan’s nuptials exudes all of these characteristics and more and is captured to perfection by Atelier Pictures.
Be prepared to seriously covet Erica’s big day style. This gifted (not to mention beautiful!) bridey designed her gorgeous wedding gown herself and she also planned and decked out the whole stylish summer soiree, with some help from her hubby-to-be and some fantastic friends. This is one talented DIY-queen and so it will come as no surprise that Erica has her own furniture restoration business and blog and that Nathan is an artist!
If you’re considering saying ‘I Do’ in the Californian sunshine, or if you’re looking for DIY wedding inspiration, then this is the real wedding for you!
