Real Wedding – An Organic & Naturally Beautiful Greek-Cuban Affair

Eleni & Edward   ♥   Santa Barbara, USA

Photographer:   onelove photography

Eleni is of Greek and Irish heritage and Edward of Cuban, and so they wanted their day to reflect hints of their respective cultures as well as their personalities and style.

Trailing earthy greens gave a nod towards classical Grecian wreaths whilst oversized-yet-delicate off-white blooms created impact and an organic and naturally beautiful display.

The Demetria winery venue set in the Santa Ynez Valley outside of Santa Barbara played host to their rustic, relaxed, and elegant wedding weekend; giving their beloved guests the time to get to know one another and truly enjoy the destination.

This beautiful wedding day simply exudes classic chic yet with a refreshing and modern edge – pure wedding bliss.

Engagement Shoot – Santa Barbara Bliss

Cynthia & Jason   ♥   California, USA

Photographer:   Kiel Rucker Photography

Sometimes you visit somewhere and not only do you fall in love with the place, the people and the ambience, but you just instantly feel at home; you can imagine yourself living there with ease, everything just feels right.

Santa Barbara is one of those locations for me. Although it is almost 10 years since I visited this lovely coastal corner of California, its positive impression has never left me.

Maybe it was because I was staying with friends who could show me what it was truly like to live in this picturesque part of the world, it could have been the love I found of living so close to the ocean yet still surrounded by imposing mountain ranges, or possibly it was the laid-back Cali atmosphere and the clean stylish streets. Whatever it was all those years ago, Santa Barbara most certainly won me over and I’d even go so far as saying that I left a little piece of my heart there.

I would love to go back one day (or to have the opportunity to live there) and if you haven’t had the pleasure of taking a trip to the sunny shores of Santa Barbara, I’m sure that these stunning photographs from Kiel Rucker Photography will inspire you to take a trip there.

Cynthia and Jason headed to the hills for a splendid sunset engagement session. With Knapp’s Castle – a landmark, ruined mansion in the Santa Ynez Mountains near Santa Barbara – as a backdrop and a wonderfully romantic soft light, this couple’s shoot is pure dreamy Santa Barbara bliss.

Engagement Shoot – San Diego Chance Of Fate Fairytale

17/11/2014 | 0

Natasha & Steve   ♥   San Diego, USA

Photographer:   Justice Phototography

Today’s long distance love story is an incredible ‘chance of fate’ fairytale! Having met at University in Ohio whilst Natasha enjoyed a semester there from her own UK Uni, this cute couple were initially just friends and after that one term they didn’t see each other again for years.

A chance meeting brought them together after 13 years apart and as soon as they met up again there was no doubt in their minds that they were meant to be together. By this time in their lives they were living on other sides of the globe from each other but undeterred they kept their love alive over the long distance that stood between them.

Steve proposed and of course Natatsha said “Yes!” and so they enjoyed a whirlwind wedding along with this engagement shoot session by the beach in sunny San Diego – one of their favourite places in the world – before starting a new life together in the US.

Molly & Patrick   ♥   Sonoma, USA

Photographer:   onelove photography

Just like many couples before them Molly and Patrick chose to have a destination wedding so that they could enjoy guaranteed sunshine on their big day and celebrate their special occasion outdoors.

So they said farewell to their beloved Chicago city and its more temperamental temperatures and jetted off with their nearest and dearest to tie the knot al fresco at the rustic Beltane Ranch in Sonoma, just an hour outside of San Fran.

The pretty peach theme and perfectly fitting vintage touches purely accentuated the lovingly restored ranch house backdrop and breathtaking vineyard surroundings. Thankfully the oh-so-talented onelove photography team were also on hand to beautifully capture all of this wonderful wedding pretty!

Engagement Shoot – San Diego Style

29/07/2014 | 3

Heidi & Rick   ♥   San Diego, USA

Photographer:   Raw Fusion Studio

When it comes to engagement shoots the ones that I love to share are those that are literally bursting with a couple’s personality or that make a wonderful worldwide location the heart of the engagement shoot story. Hopefully these two key elements present you with an abundance of wanderlust ideas as inspiration for your own shoot before your upcoming destination wedding.

Today’s trendy love shoot ticks both the personality and the lovely locale box and displays some serious San Diego style.

Lovers of all-things vintage, Heidi and Rick headed to Sante Fe train station with the super-talented Raw Fusion Studio team. This Spanish Colonial Revival station provided a picturesque backdrop to the antique twist of their theme.

Next stop was Silo in Makers Quarter, a dynamic and original urban space in the East Village. A hub for vibrant creativity, this colourful corner of the metropolis brought Heidi and Rick’s character to life.
