“The orchid is my favourite flower. It’s beautiful, graceful and delicate and it also reminds me of Singapore, where I used to live.”

Bluebells, hydrangeas and peonies

“When I found out bluebells would be in bloom at my wedding venue, it was the perfect foundation for a wedding theme. From that point on bluebells were a big inspiration! From the detail in my bridal bouquet, to the Cath Kidson lip balm favours, to the deep blue bridesmaid dresses…”

“Another favourite, is large terracotta pots filled with hydrangeas…especially the big blue ones. I also had these at my wedding and then when I went to California on my honeymoon I kept spotting this gorgeous, colourful flower on sidewalks, in shops and restaurants.”

“Finally, I love the soft, girly, dreaminess of peonies – especially a big bunch of white ones. They remind me of a fluffy cloud!”

– Kara, Solihull
